This is a very unique set of two Japanese teacups and matching saucers.
Only 2" tall cups, with an unusual, ridged shape that is wider at the bottom,
as well as a matte finish on the outside of the cup and top of the saucer -
while the inside of the cup and bottom of saucer have a traditional smooth finish.
All pieces have gold trim and dusting, as well as gold and blue hand painted flowers.
The saucers have a Japanese stamping which I have not been able to translate..
The cups are 2" tall and about 2-1/2" wide at their widest (not including handles).
The Saucers have a 4-9/16" diameter and are 9/16" high.
These are in excellent vintage condition, no chips or fractures.
