Unusual Vintage Ceramic Penguin Single SaltshakerI think the penguin is white Ceramic with black painted in the back. He is a saltshaker, don't know what happened to the other one. He has bright orange painted Beak and feet.Post WWII - Made in Japan. Clearly marked Japan.
He is 3" Tall
In Very good vintage Condition. The orange Beak and feet are intact. The black back paint is a little faded. There are two black spots on the white belly that appear to be original not a mark or paint loss. No cracks, chips or crazing.

I used tocollect Penguins, all kinds of Penguins – old, new. Made in USA. Japan,Germany, even one or two in China. I used them in my Christmas Dioramas and kepta few out all year.
