Vaillancourt Folk Art 1989 Chalkware St Nicholas Santa No. 117 Green Robe Signed For Sale

This vintage chalkware Saint Nicholas was made by Vaillancourt Folk Art of Sutton, Massachusetts. He wears a long green robe trimmed in cream fur with black ermine marks and a tall gold hat set with green jewels. He has rosy cheeks, brown eyes, and a long flowing beard. The finish has the crackled, aged look Vaillancourt is known for. The bottom is hand signed \"Vaillancourt Folk Art, Sutton, Mass.\" with #117, 1989, and mold 509 © 1988, all rights reserved. There\'s also an old price sticker reading #509 and $62.00. Measurements: 8.25\" tall— 2.5\" wide— 2.25\" deep Condition: He\'s in very good vintage condition. There\'s one small white spot near the bottom of his coat on the back, where the paint either rubbed off or was missed. It\'s not a chip, and there\'s no indentation.
