Vintage stacking salt & pepper shaker set by Vandor — Pelzman Designs, ©1988, made in Korea (original foil label intact on the base).
Two shakers in one display piece: the black-and-white Holstein cow head on its hay base forms the bottom shaker (3 holes), and the piled-produce topper — pineapple, grapes, cherries and greens (2 holes) — nests right into the top of the cow piece. Stack them for display, separate them for the table.
Ceramic with a glossy glaze and bright hand-painted colors. From the photos: no chips, cracks or crazing, including on the nesting rims; foil label intact and legible. Please note: the cow shaker is missing its stopper; the other shaker's stopper is present.
Stacked height approx. 5.5 in (measured: produce topper 2.5 in + cow base 3 in). Please see all photos for condition, and feel free to ask questions.
Perfect for a farmhouse or country kitchen, this vintage stacking salt and pepper set pairs a Holstein cow with a pile of garden produce. A fun collectible for cow lovers and novelty shaker collectors alike, made by Pelzman Designs for Vandor in 1988.
