Vintage 1930's BAL- TABARIN Nude lady ashtray. Very collectable. For Sale

The BAL- TAMARIN was a famous Parisian cabaret that opened in 1904 in France. It survived the wars. In 1931 San Francisco opened a club named after the original BAL- TAMARIN. This was 2 years before prohibition was repealed and I assume it was initially a 'speakeasy'. It quickly became the premier nightspot in San Francisco. It was a key influence on the city's mid-20th century culture and nightlife featuring Parisian cabernet style with local jazz dance culture. It was a glamorous dinner club. In 1951 it changed ownership and became BIMBOS 365 Club.
This is an ashtray from the San Francisco club. As you can see, it features a nude female lounging in a pool. Interesting and definitely from a different era. It is a piece of history. Considering it is around 100 years old I think the patina is great. Thanx for looking it over. Item is aprox. 5 x 3 inches
