Vintage WWII "The American" Brilliant Paints Watercolor Set
Manufacturer: The American Crayon Company (Sandusky, Ohio)
Circa: 1942 (World War II Era)
Up for sale is a wonderfully patriotic piece of WWII-era Americana. This vintage watercolor paint box features striking lithograph graphics of Uncle Sam alongside three marching children playing a drum and carrying flags. Produced by the historic American Crayon Company out of Sandusky, Ohio.
Condition Notes:
This item is being sold AS-IS in vintage, used condition. The lid shows wear consistent with age, including a noticeable horizontal scrape/scratch running across the middle, edge scuffing, and minor paint/paper loss in the center graphics (please review photos closely). Despite the wear, the colors remain remarkably vibrant and bold. The interior has color stains that have previously ran and discolored the paint paper but it is still in decent working condition considering its age.
Perfect addition to any collection of vintage toys, militaria, or antique advertising lithographs! Please see all pictures and judge condition for yourself before purchasing.
