Above it is a tiny clock-style dial so you could even set the hour. Honestly, what could be more glamorous?Open the compact to reveal a full mirror and powder compartment. The original Le Rage Made in England powder puff is still present. The interior powder cover has a lovely concentric-circle design.Made by Le Rage of England, a collectible British vanity manufacturer known for imaginative novelty compacts during the 1940s and 1950s. This particular design is known as the Le Rendezvous or “Dial-A-Date” compact and dates to the early 1950s.Measures: approximately 4 inches across.Vintage condition with age-related surface wear, patina, and scratching to the gold-tone finish.
