Vintage 1960s oval 1.75” pocket pill or trinket box. Thegold-tone brass body features an embossed floral and leaf chasing patterncovering the lid, sides, and bottom base. Nestled at the very center of thehinged lid is a smooth, high-dome oval faux pink stone cabochon.
The box features a functioning rear hinge and frontsnap-catch closure tab. It is entirely unsigned with no maker marks.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with expected signs of age-relatedwear, including a lovely dark patina.
The rear hinge feels a little loose.
The front snap-catch closure tab works well.
The interior has gold-tone finish along with expected patinaand some remnants of powder or perfume .
