Vintage 1961 promotional booklet, "How to Keep Your Kids Busy and Happy All Summer Long," published by Curtiss Candy Company of Chicago. The 24-page pocket-size booklet is illustrated in red, blue, and yellow mid-century cartoon style. It has a "Mothers: This Book Is for You!" introduction, chores and house-rule tips, card games (Snip-Snap-Snorum, War, Concentration, Slap Jack), and party and parlor games (Tick Tock, Observation, Word Hunt, Do This and Add Something, Pull the Monkey's Tail), and more! The back page advertises a Curtiss "trip to Nassau" contest that closed September 30, 1961.
Condition: Vintage, with age wear. It has scattered brown foxing and spots on the cover and interior pages, some darker spotting on the "Mothers" spread, light overall toning, and a creased or folded top corner on the back cover. Binding is intact and all pages are present, with no writing or tears that I can see in the photos. Please see all photos.
