Fuel your nostalgia with this remarkably clean, authentic 1961 Kellogg's Cereal Box mail-in premium coupon panel.
This vibrant piece of mid-century Americana features a beautifully illustrated, action-packed graphic advertising the spring-powered "Model Racer complete with metal launcher." For only 25¢ and a box top, kids could send away for this high-speed toy!
What makes this an absolute must-have piece of ephemera for the serious collector is the fine-print text, which references highly sought-after, short-lived vintage cereals: Kellogg's OKs and Kellogg's Sugar Stars.
The front showcases rich, unfaded primary colors and excellent typography. The reverse remains completely blank with a natural, beautifully aged vintage cardboard patina. This is a cut panel from an old cereal/food box that was used to store collector envelopes flat. Found inside a First Day Cover from 1960.
It’s been stored in a postage collection since the 1960s free of smoke, sun or pets. A stellar cross-collectible piece perfect for framing or archiving alongside your classic toy and cereal promotions!
