Up for sale is an exceptional, highly collectible vintage Case XX USA Fixed Blade Hunting Knife (Pattern 523-5), complete with its original factory leather sheath. Based on the specific "CASE XX / USA" tang stamp configuration with no dots, this knife securely dates to the 1965-1969 transitional era—the very first production run where Case introduced the "USA" lettering to their fixed blades.
True to some unique factory runs from this specific mid-to-late 1960s era, this knife features a blank reverse tang (no pattern number stamped on the back), making it a fantastic variation for dedicated Case brand enthusiasts.
