Original vintage double-deck playing card set produced for DE-STA-CO Corporation of Detroit, Michigan in celebration of the United States Bicentennial.
Includes two complete Redislip playing card decks in the original blue and gold DE-STA-CO presentation case.
The two decks feature coordinating patriotic designs:
- 1776 eagle with red and white striped background
- 1976 eagle with blue and white star background
Both decks have been individually counted and are complete.
Cards and presentation case show normal vintage age, storage and handling wear. The outer case has scuffs, marks and other cosmetic wear as shown in the photos. Cards show some age/use wear but display nicely. Cards themselves appar unplanned and absent of major creases bends rips or stains. 1 card has a slight crease.
An unusual piece of 1976 U.S. Bicentennial memorabilia, as well as DE-STA-CO/Detroit industrial advertising ephemera.
