**Description:**
Up for sale is an authentic, original 1980s Marlboro Country advertising sign featuring the iconic Marlboro Man cowboy on horseback. This is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade commercial sign constructed of heavy sheet iron/steel with a thick, baked porcelain enamel finish—NOT a cheap, flat modern tin reproduction.
It features deeply stamped, raised (embossed) red "Marlboro" lettering and graphic elements. Along the reverse perimeter edges, the original factory frame-mounting "tacker" tabs are fully intact, which were originally used to lock the heavy metal sign securely into a retail storefront rack or sidewalk display frame. The mandatory Surgeon General text box is visible in the lower right corner.
**Condition:**
This sign is being sold in highly desirable, authentic "uncleaned, as-found" condition with a beautiful natural vintage patina.
* **Front:** The porcelain enamel colors and graphics remain vibrant with a nice gloss. There is expected edge wear and weathering from commercial use.
