This is an original, authentic vintage 48-star United States American flag dating from the historic 1912–1959 era. This piece represents the nation through World War I, World War II, and the Korean War, before Alaska and Hawaii entered the Union. This specific flag measures approximately 15.5\" x 11\" (Size #11 footprint). It is crafted from a fluid, soft silk or printed rayon fabric with a gentle historic sheen. The 48 stars are printed cleanly in a symmetrical 6x8 grid arrangement.
These lightweight small textiles were traditionally distributed at patriotic parades or kept as wartime home front keepsakes. Its compact size makes it an exceptional candidate for professional framing, military shadowboxes, or historical Americana displays.
