Vintage 7/8 M.J. Higgins Sheffield Straight Razor For Sale

For sale is a 7/8 M.J. Higgins Sheffield Straight Razor. Has a wedge grind and is being sold as is. Original razor was sent out for \"restoration and honing\" by an amateur I connected with through a popular forum in this hobby. The razor restoration involved replacing the original scales with purpleheart wood scale, which were then coated in epoxy. The heartwood is pretty even with the slightly irregular edges of the epoxy, and the razor has all of the hallmarks of age (patina, hone wear, scratches and pitting (captured in photos)), but would clean up nicely for a daily workhorse. I didn\'t mind the quality of the work at the time because i was new; however, the honing was not \"shave ready\" and could not be used. The razor is being sold as-is and definitely needs to be honed properly prior to use, otherwise these are excellent razors (easily worth double what i am asking).
