Vintage 800 silver large purse handbag frame with babies on frame For Sale

Nice ornate vintage purse frame to attach a vintage beaded purse!It measures 7-3/4\" from outer edge to outer edge at the widest area and 3\" from the top of the frame to the bottom of the hinge. The inner measurement is about 6-1/2\" wide.The frame has flowers and fruits on both sides. Along with two cherubs or nude babies below the clasp, surrounding the area for a monogram. It has the letter \"M\" and both sides are identical and has the initial.Hasn\'t been polished at all and is marked 800 for the silver content along with hallmarks that I can\'t make out on the side of the frame. It will polish as shiny as you like it!Opens and closes correctly/tightly.I date this from the 1920s-40s and can definitely be used to sew on a nice large vintage beaded purse!Free first class shipping to the US.
