This is a classic mid-20th century brass casino / slot machine token made by A.S.C. (American Slot Coin or similar gaming manufacturer).
Token Details:
• Obverse: “THE BEST” above a box reading “SERIAL NO. 2940” and “A.S.C.” below, surrounded by stars
• Reverse: “JACK $7.50 POT” with stars around the rim
• Material: Brass (golden color)
• Size: Approx. 24 mm diameter
• Condition: Circulated with light wear, nice golden tone, and clear details. No major dents or scratches.
These tokens were used in older slot machines, trade stimulators, and counter gaming devices. The “$10.00 POT” indicates the jackpot or payout value, and the serial number helped track tokens for a specific machine or location. “THE BEST” was a popular marketing slogan used by certain token makers during the 1950s–1970s era.
A fun piece of vintage gambling memorabilia and exonumia — great for casino collectors, slot machine enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys old gaming tokens.
