For sale is a handsome, vintage vermeil thimble...Norway\'s Aksel Holmsen created this little jewel with the striking blue guilloche enamel...in very good condition. From a local estate...see our seller\'s list for more fresh finds, including (for the moment) 2 rare Peter Swingler thimbles. Height is about 23 millimeters. The enamel is pleated vertically. The rich gold wash contrasts beautifully with the blue color. Marks include Sterling, Norway, 2 and Holmsen\'s touch mark.
