Vintage/Antique Red Painted Wood Box that once held a hanging scroll.Measures ~ 18.5\" long x 2 7/8\" deep by 2.5\" high.It still has the paper written message on the inside of the lid that typically describes the artist name and title of the work. Since I do not read the language, I cannot say what it says.A fun piece of history and great box for storing other valuables.See photos.
