Vintage B-8 Flight Control Stick Grip - Tyndall AFB Marked F-4 F-104 For Sale

This is a highly collectible, authentic vintage aviation B-8 flight control stick grip, historically used across iconic Century Series fighters and fighter-bombers like the F-104 Starfighter and F-4 Phantom II. This specific pistol-grip style stick features a distinctive hand-etched \"TY 002\" inventory tracking mark near the base, linking it directly to the historic training operations at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. The grip retains its original knurled side texturing, operational weapon trigger, black side toggle selector, and the top pitch/roll trim \"coolie hat\" switch complete with its original aluminum directional command bezel. Offered in honest, untouched surplus condition, the heavy-duty cast body displays authentic mid-century field wear, surface scuffs, and natural aging. Please note that it is being sold \"as it sits\" for display or restoration: the index-finger button housing is missing its original switch insert (leaving an open threaded cavity), a small circular hole on the top face has been neatly filled with a grey compound, and the internal electronics remain completely untested. This is a phenomenal piece of aviation history with clear training-hub provenance, making it a standout addition to any cockpit instrument display or aviation memorabilia collection.
