Bill Storey's Restaurant was a prominent Mid-Century dining destination located in North Hollywood, California. Situated just across the river from Universal Studios, it operated primarily during the 1950s and 1960s as a key fixture of the San Fernando Valley's post-war "gourmet colony".
Because of its prime location near Universal Studios and the celebrity-dense Lakeside Country Club, it was heavily frequented by old Hollywood stars, studio executives, and media personalities. In November 1955, the restaurant famously pooled advertising with neighboring elite eateries in the Los Angeles Times, marketing themselves as a consolidated dining destination "within a pitch and putt" of the golf course.
