This vintage Bilston and Battersea Enamels Floral Needle Case is from the early 70’s Halcyon Days.
Beautiful flowers and butterflies are hand painted on the body of the case.
The top and bottom also feature flowers.
Good condition. There is a rough piece on one of the purple flowers on the top part of the body.
The item is considered used but was never used for its intended purpose and was displayed only.
Friction fit lid. I believe this piece would be best served as a collectible rather then used as it opens very easily.
Made in England. Hand painted enamel on copper with gold plate fittings.
