Up for sale is a unique piece of Minnesota history and vintage outdoor gear! This is a vintage promotional Floating Fish Knife housed inside a solid wood handle/case.
The exterior of the wooden sleeve features crisp stamped text that reads: "COMPLIMENTS OF CALUMET LIQUOR STORE - CALUMET, MINNESOTA".
The case is designed with directional arrows indicating how to slide or separate the two halves to safely reveal the concealed blade. Because the body is constructed entirely from lightweight wood, the tool is designed to float if dropped in the water while fishing.Condition Details:
This item is in authentic vintage condition with honest wear from age. The wood features a nice natural patina, and the advertising text remains completely clear and legible. Please see all high-resolution photos to carefully evaluate the structural condition, wood surface marks, and blade condition.Great addition to any local Minnesota advertising collection, vintage fishing gear collection, or unique barware display!
