Lot of five vintage advertising matchbooks from Central Asphalt Co. of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Each features a burgundy cover with a silver-colored illustration of road construction equipment and the company\'s original telephone number, 772-0720.
The reverse advertises excavating, grading, asphalt paving and patching, with services ranging from driveways to highways. The company address is listed as W. High St., P.O. Box 389, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858.
All five are full matchbooks with 30 original matches each. The matches feature dark stems with white tips.
Good vintage condition with visible edge wear, small scuffs, and some paper loss along the corners and folds. The advertising graphics remain clearly visible. Please review the photos for individual condition details.
A nice collection of Michigan business advertising memorabilia, especially for collectors of vintage construction, paving equipment, and Mt. Pleasant history.
