Vintage Cub Scouts BSA felt pennant and flag lot, believed to date from approximately the 1950s–1960s.
Included are:
* 3 blue and orange “BE SQUARE” felt pennants
* 1 Cub Scouts BSA blue and orange felt hand flag featuring the vintage wolf head emblem
“Be Square” comes from the early Cub Scout Promise, which included the phrase “to be square.” The wording was later removed from the Cub Scout Promise in 1971, making these interesting pieces of early Boy Scouts of America/Cub Scout history.
These are genuine vintage pieces and show age-related wear. The long pennants have creasing, curling/bending at the pointed ends, and other wear from age and storage. Please review photos carefully for exact condition.
