Vintage Detachable Civil War-Style Metal Cap Gun Shoulder Stock. Vintage skeleton shoulder stock (for a child’s toy cap gun?) replicating Civil War era stocks on revolvers. The letter “S” is supporting both arms. Examples of a similar detachable stock both with an “N” and no letter have been found elsewhere for sale (see pictures). ALL-METAL vintage construction with original attachment hardware. This is an unusual and hard-to-find accessory for collectors. The stock has a telescoping/adjustable attachment mechanism and retains its original screw and hardware. Shows age-appropriate wear, surface oxidation/patina and handling marks consistent with its age. There is a crack on the lower length of the stock.
