The guide has a vintage triangular slim taper saw file, that looks to be marked "Dolex Slim" and "Made in USA"
The hand saw sharpening guide is marked with "Dunlap" and "4872"
The guide is also marked with stamped scale that sets the filing angle (2 to 5)
This tool is an uncleaned garage find - it was very grimy and greasy when found, so I lightly cleaned it with a degreaser, dried it completely and applied a light coat of mineral oil
The tool has developed a patina and there is some rust on the slider bar
It seems to move and adjust as it should
From a dry, smoke and pet free garage
