While most of these sets have dried, cracked leather and faded labels, this particular "Executive" kit looks like it just stepped out of a 1962 Madison Avenue office.Features of This Set:
- Pristine Leather:The cinnamon leather is remarkably supple and soft to the touch with absolutely no cracking, even on the high-stress handle and hinges. There is some wear on the inside of the handle and edge of flap.
- Bold Gold Lettering:The gold-embossed "BOURBON" and "SCOTCH" labels are crisp, vibrant, and completely unfaded—a rarity for 60-year-old barware.
- Matching Flasks:Two heavy-duty glass flasks (marked with mold #6/9 on the base) are tightly bound in red leather. This red leather and cinnamon colored case is intentional, not mismatched. This is the "Sportster" or "Country Club" edition.This colorway is much harder to find than the standard monochrome sets and perfectly captures the bold mid-century "Cocktail Culture"
- The "Double Cap" System:Includes two polished metal shot glasses that seat perfectly over the bottle caps, serving as both a lid and a jigger.
- Clean Interior:No stains or storage odors. This set was clearly cherished and stored in a climate-controlled environment. You can still smell the vintage leather!
