Featured here is a vintage Ermetico glass canning jar from Italy. It is a 1/2 liter, with a rubber gasket and a wire bale. Imagine all the little plum tomatoes or giardiniera you could can in this thing - a half a liter’s amount. In good condition, gasket is sealed, a little hardened, bale lightly patinated, some light marks on gasket. See pictures for closer detail.
Measures 4 3/8” tall, a little over 4” x 4” square. Weighs 1 lb 4 oz prior to packaging.
