This piece features a classic red uniform, tall black shako helmet, gold accents, side-mounted sword, and classic faux-fur hair and beard. The underside features the rare, original red paper label reading: "Original Erzgebirge Expertic® - Made in German Democratic Republic." This nutcracker is in good vintage, structurally sound condition. It has been beautifully preserved but does show minor signs of age and wear. Most notably, there is a small paint chip/scuff on the front of the left black boot which exposes the white wood underneath (please see close-up photos). There is also minor, expected rubbing along the gold paint on the shoulders. No original box included. Comes from a smoke-free home.
