Up for sale is a beautiful set of three vintage ceramic Wise Men Magi figurines from a nativity set by the renowned Italian sculptor Professor Eugenio Pattarino (1885-1971). These mid-century pieces were hand-sculpted and hand-painted in his famous studio in Florence, Italy prior to 1966, and feature the vibrant glazes and heavy gold leaf detailing for which his workshop is celebrated. Each of the three figures is authentic and officially signed in gold \"Prof. E. Pattarino Italy.\"All three Wise Men are in nice, displayable condition with a few noted areas of damage - commonplace for these delicate terracotta pottery pieces. I could not find any damage on King Balthasar. King Melchior is missing part of his thumb, and the finial to his gift has broken off. I will include it so that the buyer can make the repair if desired. King Casper has a small chip to the gold glaze on his cape. As with a set this age, there is some natural crazing to the glazes. They are being sold together as a trio, making them perfect replacement pieces or a stunning focal point for an existing collection.
