Vintage Florence Ceramics “Dolores” Porcelain Figurine For Sale

I discovered this charming “Dolores” figurine at a local estate sale. Fully marked by Florence ceramics without original packaging and in very good condition.

Florence Ceramics made decorative porcelain figurines in Pasadena, California, starting in the mid-twentieth century. Florence Ward founded the studio in her garage just after the Second World War and built it into a major local producer of fine art pottery. Skilled artists cast each piece in molds, then painted the intricate details and applied real gold trim by hand before firing.

People displayed these elegant ladies and historical figures on living room mantelpieces and in glass display cabinets across American homes.
