Vintage French Aneroid Barometer Precision Made in France Open Dial Wall Hanging
Description:
Vintage aneroid barometer made in France, estimated to date from the 1940s to 1960s. It has an open-style dial, so the aneroid capsule and brass mechanism are visible through the convex glass front.
The dial is lettered in Gothic script with English weather markings: Storm, Rain, Change, Fair and Very Dry. It has two brass hands, an indicator and a reference hand set with the adjustment knob, and a ring hanger for wall mounting.
