Authentic vintage mid-century / Art Deco mechanical perpetual desk calendar, made in France. This elegant office accessory features a sleek chrome-plated rolling mechanism mounted onto a substantial, thick clear-green glass base block.
The scrolling internal paper reels display the day of the week, numeric date, and month completely in French text (as shown set to "SAMEDI 23 JANVIER"). It features two black side adjustment dials that scroll the internal displays smoothly. The right side of the glass base retains a small, shiny foil manufacturer badge emblem reading "LARI".
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. The chrome body shows a bright finish with light age-related polishing marks and tiny surface pits. The mechanical scrolling roller is in good working order. The thick glass base has no chips or cracks. Internal paper labels display clean text.
