Vintage French Country Solid Brass 2-Piece Strap Cage Plant Holder / Architectural Finial Bowl
Up for sale is a premium vintage Hollywood Regency / French Country style 2-piece tabletop cage sculpture. This high-end architectural accent piece is crafted from heavy solid brass/bronze straps formed into a classic spherical cage that splits completely apart. This functional design allows you to style it as an open decorative presentation bowl or enclose it as a structured finial topiary. It is ideal for displaying moss spheres, fairy lights, boxwood balls, or housing a small potted plant/cachepot.
The piece highlights an incredible, genuine aged patina, featuring a beautiful combination of original gold-gilt highlights and authentic blue-green verdigris oxidation settled into the metalwork. The removable top cage is crowned with a formal turned finial topper, and the lower bowl section stands securely on a heavy, hollow-cast double-tiered square plinth base. The entire piece features high-quality vintage construction, securely held together by a central threaded metal rod and hex nut assembly visible on the clean undercarriage
