Vintage GUMP's Serpentine Jade &Precious Stone Flowers in Cloisonne Pot-MidCnty For Sale

This vintage item is in used but in VERY GOOD condition. Item is a Gump's sculpture depicting a group of flowers with leaves in a cloisonne pot. Flowers are serpentine jade, carnelian, rose quartz, colored alabaster, and the leaves are dark glass or dark green serpentine jade. The pot is metal covered in cloisonne enamel. Stems are thread wrapped around wire. It isvintagemid-20th century and possibly hand carved.It has been displayed in an indoor display case only and is cabinet sized.Item is in very good condition with no cracks, dents, scratches, or chips anywhere that I can see on the flowers or leaves and there is no damaged or loose wire on the stems or vines.The cloisonne pot is in good shape with no chips, scratches, or dents, but the gilt trim around the rim of the pot has some minor small scratching consistent with the age of the item. (Please see pictures as they are part of the description; I try to take the most accurate and helpful pictures I can).Specific maker is unknown but it was made in China and imported here to the Western market by Gump's. There is no Gump's sticker-this has long since peeled away, and Gump's did not stamp their jade sculptures with their mark on the bottom since they did not have their sculptures manufactured for them (They sent their buyers to purchase them in Beijing or Hong Kong). Dimensions are7.5" H x 4.5" L x 4" circumference, so it is cabinet sized. This issuitable for any collector of Xiuyan jade sculpture art or Gump's items. Because these pieces were authentic Chinese export market items rather than proprietary store fabrications, they did not feature cast-in maker's marks or stamps from the department store itself.
