Vintage Genuine Crocodile Leather Cigarette Case
Handsome vintage genuine crocodile leather cigarette casein rich dark brown, constructed around a gold-tone metal frame with ahinged top closure.
The exterior is covered in beautifully patterned crocodile skin displayingbroad rectangular belly scales transitioning into smaller scales towardthe edges. Small sensory pores are visible within a number of the scales,a characteristic associated with genuine crocodile skin.
The crocodile has a deep brown glossy finish with attractive naturalvariation throughout. The gold-tone frame provides a handsome contrastand includes a small front release for opening the hinged lid.
The interior is lined in dark brown fabric, while the underside of thehinged lid is finished in tan leather. The case retains its original-stylestructured form and closes securely.
Also included is the cloth storage bag shown in the photographs.
Condition
Used vintage condition. The crocodile exterior remainsattractive with good color, gloss and clearly defined natural scalepatterning. There are scattered surface marks, scratches and otherage-appropriate signs of handling and use.
The gold-tone metal frame shows finish wear, spotting, tarnish and othersigns of age. The interior fabric and tan leather lining also show someage and use. Please examine the detailed photographs carefully for theexact condition.
One half of a vintage green presentation box is included as found.The box is most likely not original to the cigarette caseand is not represented as original packaging.
