Original vintage wooden shipping crate for Greater New York brand Neufchatel cheese, distributed by G.N.Y. Food Inc., Brooklyn, New York. Features red printed skyline graphic and period ingredient note “with vegetable gum added.”
These small dairy crates were used to ship packaged cheese to grocery stores in the mid-20th century and are now popular as farmhouse décor, kitchen storage, or New York advertising collectibles.
Measures approximately 10½″ long × 3 3/8”wide × 3” high.
Condition is good vintage condition with normal age wear from use and storage. Printing remains readable. See photos for details.
