Vintage Griffith\'s Laboratories 16-piece milk-glass spice jar collection, complete with matching black screw-on lids and a two-tier wooden and metal display rack.
An attractive example of mid-20th-century American kitchenware, featuring sixteen matching white milk-glass spice jars decorated with Griffith\'s distinctive black lettering and ornamental scrollwork. Each jar bears the Griffith\'s name vertically beneath the individual spice designation, with the word \"Purified\" appearing above the spice name.
The jars are arranged in two rows of eight on a two-tier display rack with curved wooden ends and metal shelves. The rack is painted a bright red, creating a striking contrast with the white glass jars and black lids. Two keyhole openings on the back allow the rack to be mounted on a kitchen wall, although it can also be displayed on a countertop.

ABOUT GRIFFITH\'S
Griffith\'s Laboratories was established in Chicago in 1919 and became a prominent American manufacturer and supplier of spices, seasonings, and food ingredients.
During the mid-20th century, Griffith\'s marketed spices and seasonings in distinctive decorative containers, including these attractive milk-glass jars. Their uniform appearance and ornamental lettering made them particularly suitable for display in home kitchens.
CONDITION
Very good overall vintage condition.
All sixteen milk-glass jars have been individually inspected and are free of chips and cracks. The white glass retains an attractive glossy finish, and the black printed lettering and decorative designs remain generally well preserved.
All sixteen black screw-on lids are present. The lids exhibit typical surface scratches, scuffs, and signs of age and handling.
The two-tier wooden and metal display rack is structurally sound and matches the construction of other vintage Griffith\'s spice racks. It has a bright red painted finish with scattered scratches, small paint losses, and general surface wear. The rack may have been repainted at some point in its history.
The back retains its two original-style keyhole mounting openings.
