Hand-carved wooden figure of a barefoot, bearded wanderer. He holds an alms bowl in one hand and a tied sack in the other, with a bundle slung across his back on a strap. Expressive face with finely carved beard and curls, visible tool marks throughout, standing on a faceted base.
Measurements: about 11\" tall; base about 4.5\" across.
Condition: pre-owned. There is a drying split across the underside of the base (shown in photos), which appears stable. A few small light spots on the top of the base and light surface wear from handling. No breaks or missing pieces found. Unsigned; maker and origin unknown.
