Beautiful vintage wholecloth quilt featuring multicolored heart-and-basket motifs in soft peachy pink, sage green, blue, coral and cream. The traditional patchwork look is created with preprinted cotton “cheater cloth,” while the quilt itself is hand quilted throughout. The design combines heart baskets, floral/Dresden-style medallions, individual hearts and decorative basket motifs, all framed by broad sage-green printed sections. The reverse is a peach floral print, and the hand quilting creates a geometric basket/log-cabin effect that shows especially well from the back.
