Vintage Husfliden Oslo Norwegian Pewter Viking Longship Salt Cellar Dish Norway
This is a beautiful, hand-cast vintage Norwegian pewter (tinn) miniature Viking longship. This classic piece of mid-century Scandinavian decor is heavily stylized, featuring beautifully detailed dragon heads on the prows and individual shields molded along the sides of the hull.
What makes this particular piece exceptionally rare for collectors is the original vintage paper foil label completely intact on the underside. It reads "HUSFLIDEN OSLO - MADE IN NORWAY." Husfliden is Norway's premier historic association for traditional arts, crafts, and folk design, founded in 1892.

Provenance: Authentic Husfliden Oslo retailer label on bottom.
Use: Originally designed as an open table salt cellar, but works beautifully today as a small trinket dish, toothpick holder, ring bowl, or display figurine.
Condition: Great vintage condition with a beautiful natural pewter patina. There are no cracks or major dents. The rare paper label shows light age-related wear but is fully legible and firmly attached. Please note that the original tiny pewter spoon is not included.
