Vintage Italian Pottery Owl Bank Hand Painted Blue Floral Believed Bitossi MCM For Sale

Vintage hand-painted Italian pottery owl coin bank, signed and numbered on the base. It has a raised textured white glaze, big blue eyes with raised pupils, and sponged cobalt, turquoise and purple florals all the way around. There’s a coin slot in the top and a clear plastic stopper in the base. It’s a very mid-century modern piece for a shelf or desk.Measures approximately 8" H x 7" WAttribution: I believe this may be by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, based on the style and the hand-marked “Italy.” A handwritten sticker on the base also reads “Italian Bitossi.” There’s no printed factory mark, so I can’t guarantee the maker. Please look at the base photos and decide for yourself.Condition: good vintage condition, glossy and bright. No chips or cracks were visible when photographed, only minor wear on the unglazed foot ring.
