This is a working gauge. View video, I only had air from a compressor that was more than 30 psi so I just blew air into it moving my nozzle back and forth and you can see the gauge respond.
Online research dates this gauge from the 1930's to the 1950's.The Brass surround measures 14 1/8 inches across.The back measures 14 1/4 inches across.Gauge is 2 7/8 inches thickThe brass nipple is 1/4" pipe threaded. The white you see on the nipple is dried "pipe dope" used to help seal it. It can be cleaned off as you wish, today Teflon tape is commonly used.The gauge weighs a little under 19 pounds.
Brass was not polished. No cracks on the brass flange.
This is a precision instrument. Shipping may jostle the internals so that it may have to be reset and calibrated. I can not be responsible if when you receive it the needle no longer sits at zero. If you purchase, this is not a reason for a return. I have just stated it, you know. Of course all other shipping damage will be covered by shipping insurance. I have shipped others with no problems but if this is an issue for you then please do not buy it.
I will mount it in wood to better protect it then wrap it before placing into a box for shipping.
