Gorgeous Jordan Sweedish Pattern 3/4\" Bevel Edged Drop Forged Socket Firmer Chisel with Leather Capped Wood HandleBevel Edge Socket Chisel 3/4\"x 9\" OAL 3\" from shoulder to edge, 5-1/2\" chisel (Not counting the handle).Embossed Logo:SWEEDISH PATTERNJORDANAUSTRIADROP FORGEDChisel has been honed to primary bevel of 25 degrees through 8,000 grit. The handle was cleaned, leather cap treated with leather conditioner, and finished with fresh lacquer. An edge protector has been added for safety and storage.
HistoryJordan was a USA importer and the maker was most likely Joh. Weiss & Sohnin Austria.This is pre-WWII made chisel was honed, taking and holding its edge quite well. It is razor sharp.
