Vintage Koestel Christmas Angel, handmade in West Germany, in original storage/display box.
Beautiful large angel wearing a rich red velvet cape and ornate red, black and gold brocade gown, with gold-tone wings and a gold musical instrument. The original Koestel label reads:
“Handarbeit Koestel – Handmade in West-Germany.”
Original box is included. The original packing instruction label on the box is dated 4/83, indicating an early-1980s vintage piece.
Angel features a hand-painted wax-style face and hands, gold-painted hair, metallic wings, velvet and brocade clothing, and detailed musical instrument.
Condition is good vintage condition overall. Angel displays very nicely. Original box shows age, staining, tape residue, surface wear and other storage wear as shown in the photos. Please review all pictures carefully for exact cosmetic condition.
Included as a bonus: two small vintage-style Christmas angel / musician figurines shown in the photos. These two smaller figures are unbranded and are included as-is.
