Beautiful and unusual vintage Lanissa Christmas tree ornament set, made in West Germany, complete with its original Lanissa presentation box.
This set includes four large approximately 6-inch glass Christmas ornaments in dramatic elongated icicle and drop shapes. Each features a striking combination of transparent and frosted glass, colorful metallic interior tinsel, and textured white mica/glitter accents.
The set includes:
• Pink/clear elongated icicle ornament with pink metallic interior tinsel
• Gold/clear drop ornament with gold and silver metallic interior tinsel
• Green/clear elongated icicle ornament with contrasting metallic interior tinsel
• Silver/clear drop ornament with blue metallic interior tinsel and frosted bands
The combination of their large 6-inch size, unusual elongated shapes, visible interior tinsel, and Mid-Century Modern styling makes this a particularly striking vintage Christmas set.
The original presentation box is marked “Lanissa,” “Christmas Tree Ornaments,” and “Made in West Germany.”

Condition: Beautiful vintage condition overall with expected age-related wear. There is some wear/loss to the applied white mica/glitter and frosted decoration, along with minor surface wear consistent with age. The original cardboard presentation box shows age and storage wear, including spotting, discoloration, edge wear, and wear to the interior dividers. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the condition description.
Includes all four ornaments and the original Lanissa West Germany presentation box shown in the photographs.
