This vintage "Longview-Rainier Bridge Club" pinback is a scarce collectible item.
The Longview-Rainier bridge was designed by Joseph Strauss, the engineer of the Golden Gate Bridge, and was opened on March 29, 1930.
The bridge was initially a privately owned toll bridge, with $1.00 per car and $.10 per pedestrian.
Washington State purchased it in 1947, and the tolls were removed in 1965 after the bridge was paid for.
This pinback is approximately 1 1/4 inches long and 7/8 inch tall.
