Vintage MAUD HUMPHREY BOGART \'Doubles\" #910023\' Cast Resin Sculpture 1991 For Sale

Offering for your consideration is this Vintage 1991 Figurine entitled \'Doubles\' from the MHB (Maud Humphrey Bogart) Collection introduced by Hamilton Gifts, Ltd in 1988. Maud Humphrey Bogart (1865-1940) was a well known American commercial artist, illustrator, water colorist and mother of actor Humphrey Bogart. All sculptures included in the MHB collection were meticulously created in either cold cast resin or porcelain bisque based upon Ms. Bogart\'s\' water color illustrations. The collection was retired in 1994. The \'Doubles\' resin sculpture features a young girl wearing ice skates and holding onto one end of the broken rope that her dog has in his mouth. The dog is in a running position so he has likely been pulling her on the ice. She is dressed in Victorian style clothing and doesn\'t appear to be overly concerned about the broken dog leash. The item measures 4.5\" H x 5.25\" wide x 2.75\" deep. The beautifully detailed and painted piece is clean, free of stains, nicks, chips, paint loss / wear, cracks, or repair. What a unique gift to a young aspiring ice-skater.
