Beautiful Vintage Mid-Century Modern Chalkware Rooster Planter - The pictures don\'t do this piece justice! It is a great combo of the red and black!
-This premium-sized statement piece features a striking, glossy red and black color - a style that highlights the heavy textures.-As a genuine vintage plaster / chalkware item, it is lightweight for it\'s impressive size compared to heavy stoneware.-A perfect addition to a farmhouse kitchen, cottagecore display or vintage carnival chalk collection.
Era:Mid-Century Modern (1950\'s - 1970\'s)
Approximate Measurements:Total Height: 11\" - at tallest pointTotal Width: 10\" - at widest pointInside Opening Diameter: 3 3/4\"Base Diameter: 6 1/4\"
Condition:Good vintage condition with gorgeous rich coloration and excellent gloss shine. It looks like there was a styrofoam brick glued to the bottom and a tiny bit of spanish moss...(not much remnant of either, it\'s not messy). As is standard for genuine vintage chalkware, there is light cosmetic wear and a little unpainted white plaster exposed along the bottom side. There is also a crack along the bottom base. It can\'t be seen from the inside so am assuming it\'s superficial.
Note:Because chalkware is porous, this is recommended for dry decorative use (faux plants, dried florals or kitchen utensil storage) rather than wet, live plants.
